that guy

Kudos for this past Sunday's radio program"This American Life". You can listen online for free. Just click the link to the right. I have only actually listened to the last half hour, so if you want to fast foward to about minute 30 or 35, you can listen to the segment of the "that guy" phenomenon. It was pretty funny. I love radio shows. Does that make me cool or weird? I don't really care.

me and welsie

We had a bit of a scare tonite. Our neighbor was dog sitting for a friend and thought it would be a good idea to bring him out and play with Welsie. Josh held her on her leash and our neighbor held his friend's dog by the collar so they could meet first, because this is what you do. Well, the neighbor's dog went postal on our dog and basically attacked her, jaws on neck, welsie crying, me screaming. Josh had the sense to let go of the leash so Welsie could run, and thankfully she was able to get back on her feet. Our neighbor somehow got a hold of his dog and carried him inside. thankfully, she was ok. Josh and I are still a bit freaked out. Anyways, we showered Welsie with lots of love tonite...but honestly, I think it helped us more than her. Isn't she the cutest?
